Breathedge Crack is the first game from developer Redruins Softworks to support publishing from HypeTrain Digital. Described by the developers as a “ridiculous space survival game”, Breathedge invites players to find a place to survive among the remains of a huge spaceship. The game begins when players are asked by two strange robot characters. The bot in charge clearly asks the player to come back and explain everything.

This narrative is powerful, albeit traditional. It’s easy to forget he’s here because, after the introduction, he is not mentioned for hours of play unless you die. From there, the player character explains how he got into such a mess. When he accompanies his deceased grandfather in a massive space session, something catastrophic happens, leaving the player alone, surviving on a huge asteroid and debris full of debris, wearing an AI suit and an immortal chicken keeping you company. From there, players must search for supplies, craft new gadgets and equipment, and overcome the dangers of space in order to collect what happened and try to survive.

The story is instructive for the most part. It can sometimes be difficult to keep track of this because of how quickly you change goals and how the pursuit of AI delivers storytelling and analysis so quickly that you can opt-out of ads at the end of the day. The story goes where expected, but it’s easy to lose sight of what you’re working on at this point, given how misleading plot points are and how poorly covered.

tries to bring its story and gameplay to life through constant banter, perversion, and industry events, hence the ironic part of its description. The comics here range from very funny to painless. The jokes turn into a pretty constant parade, so for most of those who don’t show up, there is a joke that is never left to distract you. However, some jokes are alarming.

Now I like offensive or more explicit humor, to some extent, actually, but Breathedge’s attempts are neither good nor funny. Jokes like Looking for Collectibles is a poster of a superhero called Mr. Liebtard who looks a lot like a high school student who thinks the word itself is funny and not an offensive joke with a thought or weight behind it. These jokes are compounded when you get along with the vulgar humor that pops up here and there, like a reinforced structure that floats in the feeding space for the fart. You might have made fun of that in sixth grade, but I definitely wouldn’t do it now.
